We are a true one stop shop for all of your event design and planning needs. We design unique personalized custom stationary from save the dates, invitations, menus, escort cards, programs and many other stationary needs. This service insures that your theme has a cohesive flow and your style holds strong throughout every aspect of your event. Meet Christina Harris

With a background in Interior Design, Fashion Design, and Graphic Design, I bring a passion for design and all things beautiful to create the most swanky events. I moved to Sarasota in 2007 to attend Ringling College of Art & Design where I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. Over the past few years, I have worked in the Interior Design industry, for a large Retail company designing women’s apparel and branding as well as in the hospitality industry. I fell in love with event planning after planning friend’s weddings and parties as well as working for a catering company. My eye for design, attention to detail, creativity and organizational skills will keep your event on track and exactly the way you envisioned it. Swanky Soiree’s mission is to first provide you with the most creative, unique, and personalized event you could imagine.

Fun Facts:

Favorite Place to Vacation: The Florida Keys will always have a special place in my heart, we try to go every year. My husband and I tied the knot there in 2013. We love traveling the world and exploring new places.

When I am not working, I am: spending time with my family, at the Gym, cycling, boating, and trying to book our next adventure.

If I wasn’t an event planner I would be: An Interior Designer or working on Set Design or starting a mom travel blog

Fun Experiences: I have skydived twice, ran two half marathons and went to Australia and New Zealand in high school to compete for Volleyball and ended up competing with the track team.

Meet Stefanie Seymour

Stefanie is our Office Manager & Associate Planner with Swanky Soiree. She has been in the Weddings & Social Events Industry since 2013. She started after graduating from college in Massachusetts. Tired of the cold and snow she moved to Florida. Stefanie has experience with weddings, small events, and large trade shows like Comic Con. Her start in hospitality began when she was 14 years old as a bus girl at a local restaurant. She loves coordinating events and working with people to make their dreams come true.

Fun Facts:

Favorite Place to Vacation: She goes back to New England to visit family quite a bit. Otherwise, you can find her somewhere tropical locally, or exploring new places she hasn’t been yet.

Sweet Tooth: Ice cream cake is my favorite. Also a tasty dessert martini!

Favorite Indulgence: Lounging around with my dogs and husband and getting into a good book series.

When I am not working, I am: On the beach, going to concerts, or attending her book club “Read Between the Wines”.

Favorite Holiday: Christmas. I love being with my family and watching my nieces and nephews tear into gifts.

If I wasn’t an event planner I would be: Managing my own dog bar, or art bar.

Bailey – Lead Coordinator & Rentals Supervisor

Bailey started working for Swanky Soiree Events as her first ever job. She started working part time when she was in high school and is now in the process of receiving her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management with a minor in Marketing at the University of South Florida [Go Bulls!] Bailey is now a lead event coordinator and rental manager at Swanky. Bailey’s favorite moment is when she hears the oo’s and ah’s from everyone in the party, it makes all the hard work pay off instantly. Bailey was born and raised right in the Sarasota area, working and living where every else vacations is definitely a plus when it comes to the industry. She loves to connect with people and is always looking for a reason to party. When she isn’t working, you can find her at the beach, spending time with family and friends, or at car shows!

Fun Facts:

    • I love to go to the gym
    • Building relationships with others is extremely important to me!
    • I am Italian [However, I cannot speak it]
    • My favorite foods are anything sweet!
    • I am the only Florida native in my family, everyone else is from up north
    • The mountains call my name but the beach has my heart

 

 

Elizabeth – Lead Coordinator

Elizabeth is joining us from NYC although raised in Central Florida she has returned to the sunshine state to continue her passion for event planning! Elizabeth is a proud first-generation Mexican American and college graduate! She graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s in Hospitality Business. She started her career in sporting events making her way into banquet catering and soon becoming the lead event coordinator for yacht events in NYC! Elizabeth thrives on keeping things organized, having all the details and working hard to provide a seamless and memorable experience! On her time off she enjoys spending time with her family, playing around with her Cricut and currently planning her own wedding!

Fun Facts:

    • I’m bilingual in English & Spanish
    • My favorite shows are GOT and Survivor.
    • I love spicy foods
    • The most adventurous thing I’ve done was moving to NYC and never visited it prior.
    • My favorite sport is futbol however i enjoy any live sporting event.
    • My favorite season is Fall and I miss the shorts and sweatshirt weather!

 

 

 

Cheyenne – Assistant Coordinator & Office Admin

Cheyenne is one of the newest members of the Swanky team, bringing fresh energy and enthusiasm to our wedding coordination efforts. She thrives on assisting in bringing our couples’ visions to life, ensuring that every detail aligns perfectly with their dreams. With a goal of creating unforgettable memories, Cheyenne is dedicated to making the planning process seamless and enjoyable. As a Florida native, she draws inspiration from the vibrant culture and beautiful beaches around her. When she’s not coordinating weddings, you’ll find her spending time with friends and family or exploring new travel destinations. Cheyenne believes every love story deserves celebration, and she’s excited to help make your special day remarkable!

Fun facts:

    • I love to draw and do anything artsy in my free time.
    • My favorite food is definitely sushi!
    • I lived in Illinois for a little over 5 years.
    • My favorite show is Gilmore Girls.
    • I enjoy a good hike whenever I visit a mountain area.
    • Family is my top priority and my greatest source of support.

 

 

 

Lana – Assistant Coordinator

Lana has been with Swanky Soiree Events for a number of years assisting with events and weddings.  No event is too large or too small for her.  She focuses her attention on all the details including timelines, floor plans, seating arrangements and props/decor….everything from set-up to break down.   Lana pays special attention to every client’s desire and takes pride and pleasure knowing Swanky’s clients are happy and well taken care of.  When Lana isn’t working you can most likely find her somewhere along Florida’s beautiful coastline seeking shells, fossils and shark teeth!  Her hobbies include recreational and wreck diving, swimming and cooking for friends and family.

 

 

Jackie – Assistant Coordinator

Jackie is an enthusiastic, detail-driven professional with over three years of experience in the event industry, she has channeled her love for creating memorable experiences into planning and executing events of all kinds. From weddings, private parties – to large-scale gatherings, nothing excites Jackie more than being on-site, making sure every detail unfolds seamlessly. In Jackie’s past, she has spent 8+ years working in salons, backed by her education in cosmetology, where she honors her organizational skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments. She is passionate about nature, living a vegan lifestyle, and when she is not working, you’ll find her outdoors or practicing yoga—her ultimate source of peace. Jackie is also a devoted animal lover, sharing her life with her husband and their five rescue pets: two cats, two dogs, a bird, and a fish. Grateful for every opportunity that’s brought her here, she is driven by her love for creating, connecting, and contributing in meaningful ways.

 

Felicia – Assistant Coordinator

Felicia graduated from the UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management in Orlando, Florida. She has worked at two Ritz-Carlton properties, the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando, the Westin Sarasota, and Embassy Suites Sarasota. Felicia thrives being around people and helping others. She loves helping coordinate events, especially weddings. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family, trying new restaurants, going to local events, and traveling. If she weren’t working in the hospitality and events industry, she would want to own a local boutique store because she also has a love for fashion.

 

 

 

Ciara – Assistant Coordinator

Ciara (pronounced like Kiera!) is a Connecticut native who’s been working with Swanky Soiree Events ever since she moved to Florida in 2021. She loves to help bring a couple’s vision to life on their wedding day all the way from set up to breakdown. Every wedding has its own personality which makes each one new and exciting. When she isn’t working you can find her reading a book on the beach or planning her next trip!
