Incorporate team building activities into your Company Christmas Party

Are you planning a company Christmas Party this year? A Christmas party is a great time to throw in some team building activities for your employees. During the holiday season employees can be less engaged on work and more focused on outside festivities. Many people take time off to visit family and are anxious to get shopping done. December is the most unproductive month because the team is unfocused compared to the rest of the year.  For many people the Christmas holidays are a time of peace and joy. People tend to be more compassionate, patient and generous with others. As a result the Christmas Party is the perfect time to get all of your employees behaving with one another. Throwing a fun and engaging party will have your employees leaving with a good attitude about where they work and the people they work with. This is also a great time to learn about peoples New Year resolutions both in their personal life and work life. You might encourage employees to commit to a new year of productivity, communication and trust amongst fellow co-workers.  The more willing a business is to invest in their office Christmas party, the more effective the party will be in projecting the company as successful and thankful to its employees. It has been proven that the value of a Christmas party far exceeds the expense. Team building events should not be a laborious but instead a fun engaging ice breaker activity. Your team will walk away feeling empowered and will have a better bond with fellow employees. Now is the time to begin planning your company party. Let Swanky Soiree take care of all of the details and your Christmas [...]

Top Reasons Sarasota is a great place to have a destination event

1. Sarasota is surrounded by four beautiful and very unique barrier islands. Siesta Key, Lido Key, Longboat key, and the very exclusive Casey Key. All of these beaches offer luxury resorts, condos, bed & breakfasts, and luxury estates. Beaches are easily accessible and parking is free. Siesta Key has recently been rated the #1 beach in the USA. 2. Culture is exploding here. Even Hollywood has discovered our little gem. There is plenty to do for the whole family. Just to list a few popular winners we have the Van Wezel Arts Hall, Ringling Art Museum, Selby Botanical Gardens, Jungle Gardens, Mote Marine Aquarium, G Wiz, The Asolo Theater and so many more. Sarasota is often referred to as the cultural coast of Florida. 3. Weather- The average temperature here is a breezy 74 degrees. July and August do get pretty toasty but the gulf breeze is still nice. 4. Water Everywhere- You name a water sport you want to do and we have it. The most unique thing sarasota has in my opinion are the mangrove tunnels at Lido beach. Kayak or paddle board through there and you will see so much wild life. 5.Activities- Whether you like to golf, boat or go shopping there is always something to keep you busy. St Armand's Circle is a great destination to shop some high end items.  worry they have affordable shops as well. 6. Restaurants- My oh My, does this place have so many delicious places to eat. Many of the places in Sarasota are owned by individuals who have all the right recipes. So much culture in your mouth, um um um. I could go on and on. 7. Picturesque Sunsets- Yes we really [...]

Sweetheart Table Backdrop

Love this back drop for a sweet heart or a head table. All you need is a couple of crystal curtains, chandelier, florals and decorative pillows. This look creates an elegant ambiance in an outdoor setting. For an evening reception adding some up lights and lantern centerpieces would romanticize the table even more.
